He was predeceased by: his parents, Stoughton Gilkeson and Merlie Wilt Gilkeson; his wife Norma Taylor Gilkeson; and his siblings, Sam, Lawrence, Jim Gilkeson, Freda Keeney and Louise Deaver.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Harley Davidson and Lilly Park; his sons, Jud (Donna), Fred (Shelia) and Mark Gilkeson; his grandchildren, Amanda Winn (Tres), Taylor Gilkeson (Micah Beachy) and Grace Gilkeson; his great grandchildren, Adelina, Charlotte and Lucas Winn; and his siblings, Skip Gilkeson (Shirley), Tom Gilkeson, Butch Gilkeson (Vivian), Kitty Phillips (Malcomb) and Thelma Johnson. He is also survived by forty-seven nieces and nephews; extended family and friends.
