He is survived by: his daughters, Alicia Walker (James) of Rainelle and Olivia Steele (Keith) of Clintonville; his sisters, Virginia Dotson of Idaho and Ellen Bailes of Nettie; his grandchildren, Matthew Spencer (Ashley), Samuel Wamsley, Jr. (Kendra) and Marie Wamsley (Pedie); and his great grandchildren, Aubrie, Elizabeth Spencer and Jackson Wamsley. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
