She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard E. Wenger and Amy Dora Smith Wenger; her husband Charles "Cotton" Sawyers; her daughter Phyllis Capps; and her daughters-in-law, Sharon Sawyers and Gloria Sawyers.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Darrell Sawyers of Schaumburg, IL, Clyde Dale Sawyers of Backus Mtn and Vickie Zickafoose (L. A.) of Backus Mtn; and her grandchildren, Charles Sawyers (Kathy), Brian Sawyers (Tonya) of Schaumburg, IL, Eric Sawyers (Jennifer) of Layland, WV, Jason Zickafoose Backus (Kristin), Amy Zickafoose (Matt) of Natural Bridge, VA, Megan Weatherford (Will) of Mt. Lookout, WV and Steve Young (Samantha) of Leland, NC.
