He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles McComas (Bonnie) and Bonnie Johnson McComas; and his brothers, Homer McComas and Richard McComas. He is survived by: his wife Judy McComas; his daughter Jacqueline Connolly (Charles Staats III); his granddaughter Kaitlyn Connolly; and his stepgrandsons, Michael Staats, Matthew Staats and Charles Staats (Abby). He is also survived by many extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
