He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wayne Crawford and Allie Rebecca Crawford (Neville); his wife Marceia J. Crawford; his daughter Julie R. Glenn; his grandson William Jeffrey Crawford; and his siblings, John Wesley Crawford, Barbara Harbour and Margie Wisser.
He is survived by: his children, Howard L. "Buddy" Crawford Jr. (Shela) of Gallipolis Ferry and Karen L. Wall of Wheeling, WV; his brother William "Bill" Crawford (Margaret) of Apple Grove; his grandchildren, Randall "Willie" Bright Jr., Nicole Wall, Michael Glenn, Shane Glenn, Brent Matthews (Tricia) and Zach Crawford (Katey); and his close friends, Kenny Long and Jimmy Ashton. He is also survived by five great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
