She was predeceased by: her parents, George Elton Helmick and Delia Helmick Thorne (Ours) of Virginia; her husband Owen L. Alt, Sr.; her son Randall Lee Alt; and her brothers, Vernon Delmas Helmick and Ray Elton "Buck" Helmick.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn R. Alt of Petersburg, WV, Barbara K. Halterman (George) of Petersburg, WV, Owen L. Alt, Jr. of Petersburg, WV and Carl A. Alt of Petersburg, WV; her grandson Tyler G. Halterman of Petersburg, WV; and her sister Emma Jo Bartley of Petersburg, WV. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
