He was predeceased by: his parents, Vivan R. Mowry and Lela Louella Mowry (Smith); his son Barton H. Mowry; and his brother-in-law Carroll H. Smith. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Mowry (Lahman); his son Richard Mowry (Nadena) of Frederick, MD; his granddaughters, Matalyn Morgan Mowry, Brenna Nicole Mowry and Lela Katelyn Mowry; and his sisters, Barbara L. Smith of Petersburg, WV, Patricia Kidwell (Jason) of Harpers Ferry, WV and Dottie Harman (Glenn) of Fairmont, WV. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
