He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Harold Minnick, Sr. and Claretta Jean Minnick (Helmick); his stepfather Loran Hawk; and his great-nephew Aaron Ashby. He is survived by: his significant other Linda Reed; his children, Keli "Ann" Minnick (Kale Hartman) of New Creek, WV and Chad Minnick of Mt. Storm, WV; his grandson Carter Minnick; his stepgrandchildren, Alexia, Peyton, Ana and Jackson; and his siblings, Patty Chapman (Mickey) of Gormania, WV, Rhonda Morgan of Mt. Storm, WV, Rick Minnick (Millie) of Oakland, MD and Jeff Minnick of Oakland, MD. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
