He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Evers Alt and Dora Alice Alt Moyers (Judy); his children, Lucas Alt and Nora Swick (Alt); his great grandchild Elizabeth Ann Houser; his brothers, Glenn Alt, Jr. and Vivan Alt (Owen Alt); and his half-brother Joe Moyers.
He is survived by: his wife Cleo Alt (Muhlenkort); his daughters, Loretta L Miller (Mike) of Bunker Hill, WV, Patricia A. Thompson (Ray) of Petersburg, WV and Karen J. Howes (Joe) of Baltimore, MD; his grandchildren, Rebecca Houser (Richard), Timothy Tritapoe (Amanda), Hailey Howes and Hannah Howes; his sisters-in-law, Charlene Alt, Cindy Alt and Ruth Tomlin; his nephews, Blaine Alt and Glenn Alt, III; his niece Denise McCracken; and his half-siblings, Shirley VanMeter, Alfred, Gary and Roger Moyers.
