He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Adam Freeland and Ada Frances Snodgrass (Harden); his wife Shirley Freeland (Swick); his daughter Connie Ann Langley; and his siblings, Betty Wilson, Pat Hall, Linda Hammond and Larry Freeland.
He is survived by: his children, Tina M. Freeland of Petersburg, WV, John Freeland of Petersburg, WV and Rob Freeland (Betty) of Stephens City, VA; his sister JoAnn Robinson of Greenwood, WV; and his half-siblings, Diana Gaskins of Petersburg, WV and Michael Snodgrass of Harrisville, WV. He is also survived by four grandchildren; two step grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
