With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Franklin Hamme of Petersburg, West Virginia, born in East Berlin, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 28, 2020 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Franklin Hamme to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Alvin Hamme Sr. and Edna Julia Hamme (Shue); his children, Daniel Dean Hamme and Ella Jean Hamme; and his brothers, Sterling Bixler, Russell Hamme, Dwaine Hamme, Richard Hamme and David Hamme.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Larue Smith (Lang); his brother Henry A. Hamme Jr.; his children, Terry Hamme of Texas, Russell Hamme of Texas, Mark Hamme of Arizona, Dennis Hamme, Diana Thornton of Largo and Lorina Hamme of Ok; and his stepchildren, Douglas Smith of Pasadena, MD, Kay Jones of Wesminster, MD, Donna Powell of Taneytown, MD and Kimberly Miller of Dundalk, MD. He is also survived by several grandchildren and step grandchildren, great grandchildren and step great grandchildren and one step great- great grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
