It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy George Goldizen of Petersburg, West Virginia, who passed away on January 14, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kelly George Goldizen and Elva Lee Goldizen (Simpson); and his sister Donna Carr. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Bernell Goldizen (Carr); his children, Kimberly Knick (Samuel) of Petersburg, WV and Nathan Paul Goldizen (Angie) of Maysville, WV; his brothers, Wayne Goldizen (Sharon) of Petersburg, WV and Jerry Goldizen of Petersburg, WV; and his grandchildren, Allison Myers (Ryan), Brendon Knick, Eric, Christian Phares, Jacob and Devin Vance. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Brake Covenant Brethren Church Outreach Fund at 176 N. Mill Creek Rd. Petersburg, WV 26847.
