It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arlena Virginia Kimble (Petersburg, West Virginia), who passed away on April 22, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Jackson Riggleman and Dora Riggleman (Kite); her former husband Sherman D. Alt; and her siblings, Hetz, Gordon Riggleman and Jessie Mae Crites.
She is survived by: her husband Carl A. Kimble Sr.; her sons, Isaac "Sonny" Alt (Judy) of Keyser, WV, Louie Alt (Kathy) of Fisher, WV and Michael S. Alt (Trina) of Upper Tract, WV; her stepsons, Carl Kimble, Jr. (Martha) of Moyers, WV, Joseph Kimble (Shirley) of Upper Tract, WV and John Kimble (Shirley) of Smoke Hole, WV; her nephew Delmas Alt (Juanita); and her siblings, Genevieve Vance of Cumberland, MD and Marcell Riggleman (Carolyn) of Stephens City, VA. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Due to the pandemic, we are taking government recommendations into consideration and we encourage online expressions of sympathy to the family.
