Anna Elizabeth (Reel) Redman Obituary

Anna Elizabeth Redman, 71, of Petersburg, W.Va., died Tuesday, May 21, 1946, at her residence.

Born on May 2, 1875, in Petersburg, she was a daughter of the late James S. Reel and Martha Rebecca (Hogbin) Reel. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by three sons, Holmes Redman, Page L. Redman and Emmitt Redman; two daughters, Jennie E. Redman and Lena B. Redman; one infant brother, and three sisters, Jennie Reel, Mary Reel and Etta Keplinger.

Mrs. Redman was a homemaker, and was a member of the Davis Chapel Methodist Church, Petersburg.

Surviving are her husband, Arch B. Redman; four sons, William O. Redman, Charles H. Redman and Olie S. Redman, all of Petersburg, and John E. Redman, of Cumberland, Md.; four daughters, Cora L. Redman, Carrie L. Redman, Anna E. Redman and Grace C. Bennett, all of Petersburg; 39 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, and one sister, Bertha Reed, of Crown Point, Indiana.

Services will be conducted this afternoon at the residence.

Interment will be in the Redman Family Cemetery nearby.
