It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy J. Harris (Parkersburg, West Virginia), who passed away on June 11, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nancy J. Harris to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hans Rauch and Rita Susan Haschky. She is survived by: her wife Alice Marie Harris; her sons, Ryan Bremar (Leslie) of Scott Depot, WV and Jon Bremar of Arnoldsburg, WV; her sister Susan Sherman (Larry); her sister-in-law Debbie Harris of Parkersburg; her niece Samantha Jo Shimer; her pet Gracie Rose; and her grandchildren, Ari June, Natalia, Karina, Gavin, Owen and Kamden.
In honor of Nancy's legacy, Alice is contributing to the WVU Parkersburg Foundation to establish the "Nancy Rauch Harris Memorial Fund" to support and continue her life's work of advocating for equity and inclusion for all people especially the students of WVU Parkersburg. Alice requests that friends, family, and colleagues donate to support this fund and ensure that future generations benefit from Nancy's lifelong efforts.
