He was predeceased by: his parents, James Shreve and Beatrice Shreve (Chesshire); his grandparents, Chesshire, Delma, John Delano and Lula Shreve; and his pets, Ben and Honeydew.

He is survived by: his wife Pamela Shreve; his brother-in-law Daniel Buskirk; and his pet Cocoa.
