It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Amos of Paden City, West Virginia, born in Wheeling, West Virginia, who passed away on December 1, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Maidens and Nellie Brothers Maidens; her husband James "Jim" Amos; and her siblings, Robert, Richard "Dick" Maidens, Mary Amos, Eva Jones, Jean Beabout, Betty Courtney and Nancy Tennant.

She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey S. Amos (Carol) of Baden, PA and Kelly J. Clarke (Steve) of Richlands, NC; her grandchildren, Ryan Smith, Casey Jones, Chelsea Nestasie and Emily Hatfield; her great grandchildren, Trey, Brantley Jones, Vincent, Evelyn Nestasie and Henry Hatfield; and her sister Martha O'Brinar of Blacklick, OH..

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Shirley's name to Paden City Christian Church, 105 E. Main Street, Paden City, WV 26159.
