He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Willis and Gladys Rogers Willis; his siblings, Kevin Willis, John Willis Jr., Allen Willis and Linda Willis; and his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Willis and Joseph Durst.

He is survived by: his siblings, Tom Willis (Pam) of Independence, Terry Willis (Terri) of Grafton, Kathy Savage (Jeff) of Morgantown, Susan Pratt of Bluemont, VA and Libby Durst of Frostburg, MD; his sister-in-law Louella Willis of Morgantown; and his friend Lisa Larew of Gladesville. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
