He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Ray and Nellie Elizabeth Johnson (Jefferys); his daughter-in-law Karen L Johnson (Grimes); and his siblings, Jim Johnson, Edward Charles Johnson, Lucille "Sis" Kephart and Geraldine "Tiny" Root.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Mae Johnson (Haskiell); his children, Sharon Kay Watkins (Paul), Bonnie Jean Pratt (James), Jackie Sue Wilson (Henry) and Frankie Gene Johnson; his grandchildren, Wendy, Steven, Lori, Jason, Sheldon, Scott, Jeremy, Kristin, Matthew, Gregory and Kurtis; his sisters, Mildred Haskiell and Dorlene Weaver of Zelienople, PA; and his siblings-in-law, James Haskiell (Joy) and Agnes Johnson. He is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren.
