We are sad to announce that on February 22, 2024, at the age of 74, Carolyn Jean Smouse of Newburg, West Virginia, born in Widen, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bud Hall and Radie Hall (Carte); her daughter Elizabeth Potts; and her brothers, Ervie Hall and Ernest Hall.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald "Bucky" Eugene Smouse; her son James Potts of Ohio; her siblings, Della Butcher of Widen, WV, Carol Woods of Duck, WV, Kathleen Rose of Strange Creek, WV, Erman Hall of Dille, WV and Ernie Hall of Dille, WV; and her sisters-in-law, Jennifer Smouse of Independence, WV and Angie Huffman of Kingwood, WV. She is also survived by several nieces/nephews.
Donations can be made to the funeral care fund to help with funeral expenses.
