We are sad to announce that on April 6, 2024, at the age of 72, Lin Ellen Russ of New Martinsville, West Virginia, born in Port Hueneme, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Zinck and Rita Zinck (Silva); and her brother Jim Zinck. She is survived by: her daughter Aja Russ of Mt. Vernon, OH; and her brothers, Don (Tom Zinck) and Dolce.

Memorial contributions may be made to Wetzel County Animal Shelter, 399 Mollohan Dr., New Martinsville, WV 26155.

“Linda and I were best friends at sunny hills high in California, junior and senior year and will never forget the great time we had on prom night cruise at long Beach. I was happy to see her at 20th Reunion, met her husband, but lost touch with her after. I remember her brothers and parents well. She will forever be that vivacious, caring spirit i knew then in my memory. May her family be comforted by the wonderful loving memories she provided them. Rest In Peace my dear old friend 🧡”
