He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Lipscomb and Mary Lipscomb (Ullom); his wife Ellen Lipscomb (Smith); his son Danny Wayne Lipscomb; his granddaughter Kayla Lipscomb; and his siblings, Frances Harton, Virginia Winland, Patty Snodgrass, Robert Wright, James Lipscomb, Jack Myers, David Eugene Lipscomb and Julie "Cookie" Kelbaugh.
He is survived by: his children, Deloris Thompson (Jerry) of New Martinsville, WV and David Lipscomb (Pam) of New Martinsville, WV; his grandchildren, Jerry Lee Thompson of Bellaire, OH, Anna Davis (Ed) of New Martinsville, WV, Diana Hartwig (Daryl) of New Martinsville, WV and Kasee Porter (Dave) of Warwood, WV; his great grandchildren, Tyler, Nicole, Austin, Samuel and Jeremy; and his sisters, Helen Agar (Jim) of New Martinsville, WV, Carol Quinn of Sistersville, WV and Jessie Thompson of New Martinsville, WV. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
