She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Merriner and Verna Rush Merriner; her son Mark Cool; her siblings, Nelda Merriner and Kent Merriner; and her son-in-law Tom Wood.
She is survived by: her sons, Scott Cool of New Cumberland, Stephen Cool (Sandra) of New Cumberland and John Cool (Sara) of New Martinsville; and her son-in-law Edward Koontz. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
