She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Salmons and Mary Frances Cooper Salmons; her daughter April Golightly; and her siblings, Cathy Meadows, Roger Cooper, Darrell Salmons and Richard Salmons.
She is survived by: her close friend James Russell Virden; her children, Holly Garvin (John Paul) of Wheeling, WV and DJ Golightly of Bridgeville; her siblings, Brenda Cyrus of St. Albans, WV, Rose Smith Stringer of Miss and Keith Salmons (Lavonne) of Charleston, WV; and her grandchildren, Taylor, Bryce, Seth, Kaylee of Hadden, CJ, Gabrielle, Elijah, Eric and Abby. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
