It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlene Young of Moundsville, West Virginia, born in Glen Dale, West Virginia, who passed away on June 9, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Vance and Edna Newell Whitelatch; and her sister Sandy Rulong. She is survived by: her husband Sam Young; her sons, Roger Jr. Garrison (Deanna) of Lake Okeechobee, Fla. and David Garrison (Carrie) of Moundsville, WV; and her grandchildren, Donald Lee "Scooter", Amanda, Michael, Lexis and Gabe. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren great-grandchildren and some aunts, uncles and cousins.
