It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Professor Emeritus Joseph Calvin Calvin Dorton of Morgantown, West Virginia, born in Glen Jean, West Virginia, who passed away on August 14, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Karen; and his children, Stacia and Christopher.

He lost his life after being ill with Parkinson's disease for many years.
