It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Valerie Jean McDougal of Middlebourne, West Virginia, born in New Martinsville, West Virginia, who passed away on May 31, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James H. Cantwell and Betty Lou Cantwell (Summers); and her son James Douglas Forrester of Middlebourne, WV. She is survived by: her husband Everett McDougal; her children, Justin Forrester of Middlebourne, WV, Gregory Preston (Lori) of New Martinsville, WV and Jessica McDougal of Nashville, TN; her grandchildren, Caylei Forrester and Slayten Forrester; and her great grandchildren, Haileigh Preston, Kate Preston, Coen Preston and Lincoln Preston.
