She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl G. Fletcher and Innie Fletcher (Smith); her husband Gary M. Hess; her son Eric L. Hess; and her siblings, Edwin White, John Fletcher, Eli Fletcher, Alden Fletcher, Helen Thomas and Ester Carpenter.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Hess (Nancy) of Charlton Heights, Alicia Sanders (Todd) of Clayton, NC and Chad Hess of Middlebourne, WV.; her daughter-in-law Paula Hess of New Martinsville; her grandchildren, Jessica Johnson (Travis), Kurt Hess (Katherine), Mark Hess, Ethan Hess, Alec Hess, Mikel Hess and Taylor Hess; and her great grandchildren, Kameron, Kolton, Kaleb Hess, Jace and Joslyn Brooks. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
