He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Richards and Verna Mae Richards; and his siblings, Gene Richards (Wanda), Robert 'Bob Richards (Mary) and Euna Mae Eaton (Carl).
He is survived by: his wife Sonja 'Pim Richards; his sons, Michael Richard and Mark Richards (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Alyssa Berrios-Richards, Maximus Richards and Malchiah Richards; his son Jason Richards (Serena); his grandchildren, Ryan and Braden; his daughter Nancy Watkins (Craig); his grandson Parker; his sister Ann Perry (late Frank); and also, Patrick Welch (Jackie), Sydney, Riley and Coley.
