She was predeceased by: her son Edward Joseph Thoma Jr.; her grandson Tyler Joseph Thoma; her siblings, Phyllis Jean Craigo and Shirley Karnes; and her parents, George Richmond Karnes and Hopie Mae Lett.
She is survived by: her husband Edward Joseph Thoma Sr.; her daughters, Deborah Thoma Charboneau, Carolyn Thoma Murphy and Susan Thoma; her children-in-law, Timothy Charboneau, Brian Murphy and Shelley Thoma; her grandchildren, Amanda Murphy, Adam Murphy, Madeleine Charboneau, Zachary Thoma and Caleb Thoma; and her great grandchildren, Sarin Suvanasai and Jayden Charboneau.
