He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Walter and Minnie Virginia Sharp Shearer; and his wife Rella Jane Shearer. He is survived by: his children, Zella Fowler of Valley Bend, Jenny (Gragg), Rebecca Pritt of Moorefield, Marty Shearer of Valley Head and Warren Shearer of Elkins. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
