He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Irvine and Martha Friel Irvine; his son Derrick Irvine; his siblings, Sterl Irvine and Hazel Price; and his foster brother Jim Ryder.
He is survived by: his spouse Marvina Carol Doss Irvine; his children, Kristen E. Irvine Hines (Brant) and David George Irvine, Jr. (Julie) of Marlinton One; his sister Norma Jean Carpenter (Randy) of Marlinton One; and his foster siblings, Sandra Irvine (Fane) of Marlinton One and Hollis Ryder (Violet) of Marlinton Six.
