He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Linda Poling Gidley; his parents, Robert Norwood Gidley, Sr. and Nettie Dixon Gidley; his mother-in-law Linda; his children, Robert Norwood Gidley III (Jody) of Albright, WV, Dia Worrell of Fredericksburg, VA and Dustin Gidley (Sunshine) of Reedsville, WV.; his grandchildren, Roby, Joey, Heidi and Lauren; his siblings, Jessie Darwin (Erma) of Leland, NC, Donald of Harpers Ferry, WV and Aleta Albright (Roy) of Tunnelton, WV.; his siblings-in-law, Kathy Hauger, Gary (Sue Poling) of Terra Alta, WV, David Poling of Terra Alta, WV and Fred Poling of Terra Alta, WV; his great-grandparent Louisa Bell Hamer Dixon; his sister Charlotte Gidley; his grandparents, Richard, Maude Gidley, Jess and Amy Dixon; and his nephews, Greg Gidley and Allen Poling. He was also cherished by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
