It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph McGinnis of Kingwood, West Virginia, born in Grafton, West Virginia, who passed away on September 14, 2020, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Duane and Clarissa Adaline Phillips McGinnis; his grandson Emmett John Haymond; and his brother William "Bill" Duane McGinnis. He is survived by: his wife Paula Iona Morris McGinnis; his children, Bethany Haymond (Justin) and Nathan McGinnis (Brandi); his grandchildren, Garrett Joseph Haymond and Nash Preston McGinnis; his brothers, Thomas Carlisle McGinnis (Sheila) and Charles Timothy McGinnis (Linda); and his sister-in-law Jeanie McGinnis of Leary, GA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Family and friends will be received at the Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown St. Newburg, WV on Friday, September 18, 2020 from 2PM until the time of The Celebration of Life Service at 7:30PM with proper social distancing and face mask required.
