He was predeceased by: his parent Lewis Skelton; his daughter Tina Skelton; his grandson Gene Bradley Phares; and his siblings, Fred Skelton, Jeff Skelton, Harry Skelton, Steve Skelton, Dot Baures, Patty Hammer and Vera Barber.
He is survived by: his parent Naomi Skelton (Beal); his daughter Tammy Phares (Benjamin) of Kingwood; his brother Pete Skelton (Millie) of Buckhannon; his grandchildren, Donald Lynch of Benjamin Phares, Mickey Gregory, Rose Skelton and Jessica Skelton; and his great grandchildren, Kadence Phares and Abe Lynch.
