He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Grover Franklin and Nina Alice Christopher Cole; his granddaughter Kiley; his children, Shelby Cole of Masontown, Richard Cole (Jasmine Eckenroad) of Masontown and Sherry Seymour (Buddy Roy) of Reedsville; his siblings, Terry Cole (Linda) of Tunnelton, Willard Cole (Ruby) of Thornton, Larry Cole of Morgantown, Judy Haskiell (Joe) of Tunnelton, Connie Morris (Don) of Newburg, Alice Hunt (Ron) of Grafton and Katherine Harrison (Ron) of Kingwood; his sister-in-law Beverly Cole; his grandchildren, Marandia Taylor-Moats (Damien), LaRue, Hayden Cole and Devyn Knotts; his great grandchildren, Bradley LaRue and Emmalee Moats; his brother Ricky Cole; and his niece Michelle Bolyard. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

Masks and social distancing will be observed during the visitation and funeral service.
