He was predeceased by: his parents, William Claude Sargent, Sr. and Donna Jean Dean; his sister Judy Newsome; and his father-in-law Marvin Ray Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Wilma Lee Thomas Sargent; his sons, Ernest Sargent, Jr (Daffaney) of Kingwood, Jimmy Sargent (Traci) of Albright and William Sargent of Morgantown; and his brothers, William Sargent (Lynn) of Wadestown and James Sargent (Chrissy). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
