He is survived by: his wife Shirley Uphold Howell; his children, Sam Howell (Cassie) of Tunnelton and Marcia Howell of Kingwood; his siblings, Roger Howell of Uniontown, PA and Phyllis Wilhelm of Albright; and his grandchildren, Jacob and Emily.
