He was predeceased by: his parents, Art George and Betty Jean George (Barker); his brothers, Willis Hugh George and Jimmy Joe George; and his brother-in-law Andrew Joseph Tatich.
He is survived by: his children, Shawn George (Natalie Stafford) of Morgantown and Kimberly L. George (Todd); his grandchildren, McKenna Ruth Warnick, Madeline Sophia Warnick, Catelyn Ruth George and Hayden James George; his sister Sharon Ann George-Tatich of Wheeling; his aunt Elizabeth George of Morgantown; his nephew Ashley Tatich of Morgantown; his niece Allison Jane Wright-George of Morgantown; his sister Linda; and his brother-in-law E. Louis Murphy of Princeton, WV..
