It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melinda Chaney of Keyser, West Virginia, who passed away on May 25, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James T. Watson and Wanda Watson (Tasker); and her husband Charles "Chuck" R. Chaney. She is survived by: her children, Susan Peck (John George) of Wilmington, DE, Debra Longstreth (Kelly) of Bruceton Mills, WV and Charles J. Chaney (Robin) of Coushatta, LA; her grandchildren, Steven Peck, Nicolas Longstreth, Christina Holiway, Dinah, Amanda, Joshua, Diana, Bobby and Brianna Chaney; her aunt Martha Harris of Seneca, SC; and her stepmother Helga Watson of Kihei. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
