She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father William Marion; her husband Dr. Harry W. Boggs; her sister Elizabeth Parsons (Betty); her brothers-in-law, Harry Parsons and Robert A. Boggs; her nephew Shannon Saffer; her sister-in-law Annette S. Boggs; her sons, Mark W. Boggs (Anastasia "Stacey"), William S. Boggs (Dawn) and Andrew B. Boggs; her grandchildren, Michael Boggs (Jacki), Robert Boggs, Curtiss Boggs, Hannah Boggs, Aaron Boggs and Harris Boggs; her great grandchild Natalie Lynn Boggs; her siblings-in-law, Howard Boggs and Joyce Boggs; and her mother Flo.

Flo then met Frances Landers from the Haiti Educational Foundation and she became interested in building schools for Haitian children.
