We are sad to announce that on December 13, 2021, at the age of 78, Charles Garland of Keyser, West Virginia, born in Piedmont, West Virginia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charles Garland to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Garland and Ella Garland (Price); his siblings, Ada Major, Pearl Kager, Helen Hines and James Garland; and his grandsons, Saivon Garland and Daiquan.
He is survived by: his children, Lora Casey of Columbus, OH, Charles Leon Garland, Jr. (Manuela) of Missouri and Jonya Burns of Florida; and his grandchildren, Dimitra, Kenneth Grady, Dominic, Deonte Garland, Kadeem Garland, Tyrik, Diamond Burns, Kaden Garland, Kyren "Monk" Garland, Kyeisha and Maleik Garland. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other extended family.
The family respectfully requests that all those attending please use face masks and observe social distancing.
They also request that memorial contributions be directed to the Smith Funeral Home, 85 S. Main Street, Keyser, WV 26726 to assist in defraying funeral expenses.
