He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Lee and Tilda Osburn Hatten; his wife Ruth Jayne Hayes Hatten; his son Samuel Hatten; his granddaughter Carly Ensley; and his siblings, Roma Gail Billups, William Henry Hatten and Jimmy Lee Hatten.
He is survived by: his daughter Cindy Ensley; his granddaughter Maggie Ensley Williams (Brandon); his great grandchildren, Ethan, Cameron and Addison Williams; his daughter Tammy Meadows Thompson (David); his grandchildren, Dustin Meadows and Kyle Thompson (Courtney); his daughter Christy Adkins Sessions (Gary); his grandchildren, Eden Sessions and Ambria Adkins Britton (Travis); his great grandchildren, Ruby and River Britton; and his siblings, Joann Hunt, Floetta Hall (Darrell) and Harry Gene Hatten. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
