He was predeceased by: his parents, Denny Maynard and Ona Shoop Maynard; and his sisters, Norma Staris, Gladys Dishman, Helen Riddle, Gaylene Workman and Bonita Dean.

He is survived by: his children, Kenneth L. Maynard, II and Cynthia Lee; and his son-in-law Dennis Middleton.
