It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Walter Luther Sr. of Kenova, West Virginia, born in Logan, West Virginia, who passed away on March 28, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Adrian Luther and Edna Parsons Luther; and his brothers, Steve Smith and John David. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Blankenship Luther; his children, John, James, Jr., Kevin and Sara; his grandchildren, Izak, Wade, James D. and Hannah; and his siblings, Frank (Gail), Monroe, Wayne, Allen, Scott, Barbara Walters and Lois Luther.
