He was predeceased by: his parents, E. F. "Fess" Ross and Frances Clemmer Ross; and his sister Barbara Ross Lantz. He is survived by: his wife Judith Paisley Ross; his children, Christopher (Angela Vance) of Charleston, WV and Rebecca Ross Hubbard (Trevor) of Kenova, WV.; his siblings, Harold "Kip", Phillip "Tim" Ross of Charleston, WV and Kathy (Don Kendrick) of Jacksonville, FL.; and his grandchildren, Tristan Everett of Kenova, WV, Casey of Kenova, WV, Addison of Kenova, WV, Emilee of Kenova, WV, Aaron David of Kenova, WV, Andrew Ross Hubbard of Kenova, WV, Henry and Alia Ross of Charleston, WV.

In lieu of flowers and comfort, the family would appreciate donations being made to the Huntington Cabell Wayne Animal Control Shelter which is a "no kill" animal rescue organization.
