He is survived by: his wife Lenore "Ellen" Bowen; his children, Marie Tapscott of Katy, TX, Connie Overstreet of Huntington, WV, Wanda Staley of Huntington, WV, Cynthia Mayne (Larry) of Huntington, WV, Garry Bowen of Cleveland, TN, Bernice Brown (Wayne) of Fort Collins, CO, Teresa Bowen of Kenova, WV and Erma Morton of Charleston, WV.; and his siblings, Larry James, Janet Gant and Loretha Muncy. He is also survived by his children, he leaves behind 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
