Kirk (Unger); his daughters, Melissa Kirk and Jacqueline Penwell; his grandchildren, Daniel Everhart, Terren Rupenthal and Abigayl Penwell; and his siblings, Richard Kirk, Jr. (Cindy), Marilyn Sites (Herk), Donna Shirkey (Don) and Rita Timmons.
