He was predeceased by: his sister Mary Ann Stump of Pikeside. He is survived by: his parents, Lewis Peter Mello and Bessie Elizabeth Mello (Davis); his wife Robin M. Mello (Merritt); his son Timothy Mello of Kearneysville; and his stepchildren, Nur-Charles Abu-Ghannam of Martinsburg, Jarred Golden of Kearneysville and Brenda Henry of Charles Town. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
