We are sad to announce that on November 4, 2020, at the age of 91, Robert W. Whitmore of Kearneysville, West Virginia, born in Martinsburg, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, G. Wilson Whitmore and Dora Whitmore (Hauptman); his wife Janet S. Whitmore; and his siblings, Edith May Johnston, George A. Whitmore and Kenneth H. Whitmore.

He is survived by: his sons, Jay A. Whitmore (Shonda) of Piketon and H. Monte Stuckey (Patti) of Hagerstown, Maryland; and his sister Caroline W. Hickerson of Winchester, Virginia. He is also survived by six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
